The Sumner Rodeo Co. lost our #1 fan. Retha was always the first one to arrive at our Saturday night bull ridings. She would bring her chair and get it all set up. She cheered on all the riders and became a member of our rodeo family. Rest in peace Retha. Till we meet again at the big bullding ❤️

Zachary Wayne Patton, age 36, of the Scipio area, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, deep love for his family, and a life lived with purpose, grit, and heart. Funeral services will be held at 100 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025,

The Summer Rodeo Co. lost a member of our family last night. Zach tragically lost his life last night, in a car accident. He was a great husband, father and friend. Always had a smile on his face. We will all miss him a lot.
Please keep Cheyenne, the boys and Zach’s daughter and his family in your prayers.
