Servant's Heart Services

Servant's Heart Services Servant’s Heart Services was founded with compassion and purpose to support families navigating aging, dementia, and end-of-life care.

We provide in-home assessments and personalized guidance to keep your loved one safe, valued, and supported at home. With unwavering dedication, Stephanie has invested countless hours in advanced training, intensive study, and specialized certifications in elder care. Her passion and expertise are rooted in dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and end-of-life care—areas she now serves with deep compassi

on and purpose. Through her experience, Stephanie has witnessed the emotional weight families and caregivers carry when navigating the complexities of caring for a loved one. She has seen firsthand how a lack of support and guidance can leave families feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and alone. That understanding is what led to the creation of Servant’s Heart Services. At Servant’s Heart, we are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care in a warm and supportive environment. We work hand in hand with families to ensure every senior feels valued, respected, and truly cared for—because every life deserves dignity, purpose, and a servant’s heart. 🤍

✨ Two Tip Tuesday! ✨

Dementia care isn’t just about tasks — it’s about connection, comfort, and creating a sense of security. 💜

🧠 Tip 1: Use Familiar Cues
Surround your loved one with things that feel familiar — photos, music, scents, or meaningful items. These can spark memories, ease anxiety, and bring a sense of comfort and belonging.

🤝 Tip 2: Offer Choices, Not Commands
Simple choices like “Would you like the blue shirt or the green one?” can help your loved one feel more in control. This reduces resistance and builds trust in everyday moments.

It’s the small, thoughtful approaches that make the biggest impact. Meet them where they are, and lead with patience and love. 💕

Finding the right place for your loved one can feel overwhelming… and honestly, it’s one of the hardest decisions families face.

That’s why I want to share a trusted resource with you 💜

My friend Crystal with Prime Senior Placement helps families navigate this process with ease, compassion, and expertise. She works one-on-one with you to find the right fit based on your loved one’s needs, care level, and budget — and the best part… her services are completely FREE to families.

From assisted living and memory care to skilled nursing and more, she helps guide you every step of the way so you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to have someone knowledgeable in your corner during these transitions — and Crystal truly has a heart for seniors and their families.

If you or someone you know is starting to explore care options, this is a resource you can trust.

Mindful Monday 💜

Sometimes what we see is not the full story.

The agitation…
The confusion…
The repeated questions…
The frustration…

Those aren’t just behaviors — they’re expressions.

Behind dementia behaviors, there is often: ✨ Fear
✨ Loneliness
✨ Memory loss
✨ Overwhelm
✨ A need that can’t be clearly communicated

When we pause and choose to see beyond the behavior, everything changes.
We respond with patience instead of frustration…
With compassion instead of correction…
With understanding instead of judgment.

Caregiving isn’t just about what you do — it’s about how you see.

Today, take a moment to look deeper.
Your loved one isn’t giving you a hard time…
They’re having a hard time.

And your calm, your presence, your love — that’s what makes the difference.

💜 “Be kind and compassionate to one another…” – Ephesians 4:32

Friday Feelings 💜

Caregiving carries so much love… and sometimes, so much weight.

If today you’re feeling tired, overwhelmed, frustrated, or unsure — you’re not alone. Those feelings don’t mean you’re failing… they mean you’re human.

You show up.
You care.
You keep going — even on the hard days.

And that matters more than you know.

Give yourself a little grace today. Take a deep breath. Pause when you can.

✨ You are doing enough.
✨ You are making a difference.
✨ You’ve got this.

👇 I’d love to hear from you — how are you feeling today?

✨ Two Tip Tuesday! ✨
Sometimes it’s the simplest things that make the biggest difference in dementia care. 💜
💧 Tip 1: Encourage Hydration
Dehydration can increase confusion, fatigue, and even falls. Offering small amounts of water throughout the day can help keep your loved one more alert and comfortable.
🏡 Tip 2: Create a Calm Environment
Too much noise or clutter can feel overwhelming. A शांत, peaceful space helps reduce anxiety and makes your loved one feel safe and at ease.

Caregiving isn’t about doing everything perfectly — it’s about creating comfort, stability, and moments of peace along the way. You’re doing more than you know. 💕

Today, my heart is heavy as I say goodbye to someone who meant so much to me.
Debra passed away at 4am this morning.

Debra wasn’t just my mentor… she was my teacher, my guide, and most importantly, my friend.

She saw something in me before I ever saw it in myself. She poured into me, believed in me, and helped shape not only the work I do—but the heart behind it. So much of who I am today in this journey is because of her.

Debra had a gift. A calling. She dedicated her life to helping others understand dementia with compassion, patience, and purpose. She didn’t just teach strategies—she taught us how to truly see people, how to lead with love, and how to make a difference that lasts.
There are so many lives that are better because of her… and I am one of them.

I will forever be grateful for her wisdom, her kindness, and the impact she made on my life.

Rest peacefully, Debra.
Your legacy will live on in every life you touched… and I promise to carry forward what you taught me, because you promised me you'd be watching & cheering me on.

You will never be forgotten. 💔

25 years ago, before medical school I attended cosmetology school. One of the special things that I love is being able to pamper my ladies that aren't able to go to salons & get their hair, nails, and makeup done. Ms. Ann looks beautiful for her granddaughter's wedding tonight. 💜💅💇‍♀️💆‍♀️

✨ Remember When Thursday ✨

Remember their favorite song, the way they lit up,
or the little things that made them them?

💜 Those moments still matter.
💜 Those memories still live inside of them… and you.

Even if their mind has changed,
their heart still feels love, comfort, and connection.
Today, take a moment to:
• Play their favorite song 🎶
• Talk about the “good old days”
• Sit with them and simply be present.

Because sometimes, the past is where they feel most at home.

✨ And when you meet them there…
you give them a moment of peace.
