Dr. Micah Richards did his undergraduate prerequisites at Louisiana State University while majoring in Kinesiology with a concentration in human movement science, and went on to receive his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas. While attending TCC he was given the opportunity to do a rotation at Rice University as a treating intern for the athletic department. Dr. Richards further continued his education by earning a postdoctoral degree as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. He is licensed as a Chiropractic Physician by the Louisiana State Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. Dr Rathmann, a former LSU Quarterback and active LSU Team Physician, has practiced the healing art of Chiropractic in Baton Rouge for over 10 years. Our treatments are performed not only to quickly relieve your pain and discomfort, but also to help you to understand your pain conditions in context with a larger vision of optimal health. With this approach, you become a partner in your own healing, not only eliminating your pain but restoring your overall quality of life.

We want to be part of the solution to flattening the curve, and with recent updates concerning COVID-19 we have decided to close the clinic for the next two weeks. We plan to re-open on April 6th. This was a difficult decision but one we feel is best for our patients, staff and community to help lessen their exposure and the exposure to their friends and family as well. At Rathmann-Richards Chiropractic Clinic we try to make every decision with one question in mind, “What is best for our patients?” We feel at this time that this is what is best for our patients and our community.

We will still be available for patients that are in extreme musculoskeletal pain to help lessen the load at the ER and urgent care facilities. We will also still be available by phone or email during these two weeks. Take care of yourselves and your family during this unprecedented and difficult time.
