Nestled in the heart of Central Virginia, our skilled nursing facility helps ease your transition from hospital to home as you regain your strength. Chelsea offers a comprehensive continuum of specialized care including orthopedic rehab, skilled nursing, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, and wound care. Please join us in celebrating Tina Lowry, Human Resources Director, on her 30-year milestone of caring for the residents of Chelsea!

Thank you, Tina, for all that you do to make Chelsea a warm and welcoming place for everyone!

Tina started as a Wellness Aide and quickly earned her CNA license right here, taking classes during the day and working nights. Over the years, she’s worn just about every hat possible, serving as: CNA, Activities Assistant, Restorative Aide, Activities Director, Staffing Coordinator, Medical Records Coordinator, Transportation Scheduler, Appointment Scheduler, Central Supply.

For the past 9 years, Tina has been our Human Resources Director, supporting our team with the same dedication and heart she’s always given our residents.

Tina’s story is a powerful example of growth, commitment, and what it truly means to build a career, and a legacy, in long-term care. She is a testament to the longevity and devotion of staff who make this center a warm and welcoming place for all residents.
