While we love helping people compensate for their hearing losses, we would prefer that you protect your hearing as long as possible!

Have you ever noticed muffled hearing or ringing in your ears after a loud concert or noisy event? That’s called temporary threshold shift (TTS)—a sign your ears have been overexposed to loud noise.

Dr. Laura here. I wanted to say Thank You to all of you who have been so kind and thoughtful in the wake of my loosing my pup, Murphy. He was a good boy and a delightful companion, and he was beloved by all who met him. While I miss him terribly, I am grateful for the blessing of having him in my life.
The thing that is so great about Audiology and Hearing Health is that we are like family—staff and patients alike!

"April 2018, my birthday present from my children, was an appointment with Dr. Jewell. I was resistant, but that day changed my life. I remember it like it was yesterday. My children said they were tired of me turning the TV all the way up—blasting… but I thought it was normal. I even thought I heard what I wanted to hear, and pretended to ignore what was going on around me. I guess my hearing loss was so gradual that I didn’t want to recognize the problem through the years.
After Dr. Jewell examined me, assessed the problem, and fit me with my hearing aids, I was so happy!
It was as if my life changed. Not only did Dr. Jewell give me my confidence back, but now I actually love to come see her and her team regularly to make sure that as I have more birthdays, I can hear the celebration and appreciate each and every birthday!
