"I woke up one morning completely deaf in my right ear due to shingles. I’m a musician so I felt as if life was over. After the infection subsided I was left with about 20% of my hearing. I could only hear low frequencies which sounded like a muddy mess. I was ready to give up and accept my fate until I met Dr. Jewell. She was nothing like the doctors that I had already seen.
