Breastfeeding Advocate. PCOS Warrior. Reality TV Junkie. And lover of all things Taylor Swift. I’m a Dietitian and Lactation Consultant by day and an amateur blogger by night. I started this blog in 2015 after I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. (PCOS) My husband and I were newlyweds at the time and I was becoming frustrated with all of my friends, family, and coworkers constantly asking when we were going to start our family. PCOS had stolen my ability to start a family when I wanted to. I quickly learned that achieving pregnancy wasn’t going to be an easy thing for me. I needed to tell my story so that others would understand. Sometimes there are road bumps in the journey to starting a family. PCOS was mine. Thankfully, with medical treatment I was able to conceive and I delivered my son Grayson in April 2017. He is the light of my life, my everything. When I started this blog, I intensely shared every piece of my journey from PCOS, to pregnancy, to the early days of motherhood. After all of this sharing, being vulnerable, and putting myself out there for the world to see, I needed a break and I took a step back from blogging. But now I am back. I’m ready to share again. Let’s share this together. This blog will continue to be a window into my little family life. My journey and experiences with motherhood, breastfeeding, PCOS, parenting, and everything in between. If you are a Mom, I hope you find something here that lets you know you aren’t alone. If you are a Cyster, I hope you find some inspiration and hope. This blog is for you. "If you feel something calling you to write or dance or paint or sing, please refuse to worry if you are good enough. Just do it. Be generous. Offer a gift to the world no one else can offer: yourself." – Glennon Meltor
