Congratulations to our October Star of the Month from Kids Place Gilbert – Maddox! 🌟

In physical therapy, Maddox has come so far from his early days of sadness during the entire session. Now, he happily participates and works so hard to learn new, difficult tasks! He is walking independently and is progressing with obstacles and steps. He frequently (and lovingly) grabs his therapists’ hands or face to advocate for what he wants. He has so much fun singing, being silly and is always down for snuggles (even if it is to get out of work).

Maddox has also made tremendous growth in communicating with his family and therapists in speech therapy. He loves to listen to songs, participate in motor movements and boss his speech therapist around by requesting songs or telling secrets. He is using his AAC device to request songs during his session to encourage everyone to cheer him on!

Mom says “We are thankful for the support from Kids Place and their ability to be flexible with their care plans.”

Can you believe we’re entering the last quarter of the year?

Do you know your current year’s health plan benefits? Many of us have met our deductibles or have remaining visits. Now is the perfect time to get the treatment you need before your benefits reset on January 1st. (Also, we accept most insurances!)

What is a Pediatric Gait Trainer?

A Pediatric Gait Trainer is a device that helps children walk, providing increased support to move in an upright position. Gait trainers help improve strength, coordination, balance, endurance, posture, and gait mechanics leading independent functional mobility.
