Amazing treatment! Unlike any chiropractor I’ve seen before; gentle, effective, knowledgeable and communicative. The office is beautiful and clean. They are timely and friendly. If you’re in Goodyear, I recommend trying Agape for any chiropractic needs. They specialize in infants, but I’m middle aged and feel very comfortable there. I used to be a chiropractor skeptic but now I highly recommend!For any new moms who have fussy of delayed babies, you should call Agape! I wish I had known about Agape when my teens were babies!

One thing we often look at is how the nervous system is organizing movement, including whether certain primitive reflexes are still active when they should’ve integrated.

These reflexes are meant to help babies develop…but if they stick around, they can affect balance, coordination, and how the body moves through space.

That doesn’t mean anything is “wrong.” It just means the body might need a little extra support to finish developing those patterns.

Like excuse me?? I thought I was the favorite.
But honestly… I get it.

One reflex we often look at is the ATNR (Asymmetrical Tonic Neck Reflex), also known as the “fencer position.”

This reflex is present in infancy to help babies develop coordination and movement. As the brain matures, it’s meant to integrate so more complex motor skills can develop.

When it doesn’t fully integrate, the body can still respond in that same pattern — where head movement influences arm movement — making tasks like writing, reading, and coordination feel harder than they should.

Dr. Renee is a natural teacher. I enjoy watching her work to educate others about their bodies’ innate desire to heal itself. Her depth of knowledge is profound but she makes it all so simple. I highly recommend her - you’ll not only feel better in your body but you’ll understand what’s happening too.
