Hello! This message is for all the LMTs!
I wanted to announce that I am (finally) offering our pathology based structural integration certification course to all LMTs!
I have been teaching this class for 7 years as part of the in house training for Keystone employees and now I want to branch out and offer it to all LMTs.
It is a 10 week course (3 mornings a week) for a total of 90 class hours.
When you are through you will be able to effectively utilize the HOPRS method of assessment, have a better understanding of 40 major pathologies and the best bodywork to help the client reach their goals of being pain free, and know the rolf method of structural integration (Ida Rolf's recipe).

Myofascial Cupping is a soft tissue therapy that encourages healing by creating a negative pressure, or suction, on the skin using cups that pull underlying tissues, blood, and other fluids to the surface of the skin.
The marks you see after a cupping session are the result of histamine responses and petechial, a tiny purplish red spot on the skin caused by the release of a very small quantity of blood from a capillary.
Benefits of Cupping include: decreased edema, decreased pain, and improved range of motion.

With all the uncertainty and new mandates happening everyday I wanted to create a quick post letting everyone know what to expect at Keystone.
We have always kept above average cleanliness in all of our clinics. Along with changing all linens between clients, spraying and wiping down all surfaces in treatment rooms between every client, washing our hands and arms twice between every client, spraying and wiping down reception area, all door knobs,etc.,multiple times during the day, and many other things we have also implemented a face mask policy.
All therapists must wear a face mask while engaged with our clients.
Clients may choose to wear a face mask or not in our facilities and during their session.
Our clients comfort and safety is top priority and we believe this is the best choice for everyone moving forward.

Dear Clients,

We want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our community, customers, and associates very seriously. Like you, we're closely monitoring the quickly developing effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Being a pain management and injure rehab/recovery clinic means that we are essential, and will remain open during these trying times to serve you. We have always had an above average cleaning routine, but in these times we have added extra cleaning measures. We are sanitizing the office daily, as well as cleaning tables after each session, changing out sheets after every client, and washing hands before and after every session. We have also implemented a mask policy in the clinic to protect our therapists and our clients.

We are all in this together. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will follow guidance from public health officials and government agencies, so we can continue to support our customers and communities as needed.

We would like to thank all of our loyal clients for your continued support through these trying times! We would also like to assure you all that we are an essential injury and rehab, and pain management facility, so we will be remaining open. For the safety of all of our clients and staff we will be implementing a face mask policy for our therapists, we are already also, and have been sanitizing all surfaces of the rooms and tables, changing the sheets after every client, and washing our hands very thoroughly before and after each session. Due to the increased level of cleaning in between each client, we do ask that you please be patient with us as it will be taking a little longer in between sessions. Once again, thank you all! we look forward to continuing to serve you and help you in your wellness through these times.
