✔️ Keep chocolate, grapes, and xylitol-containing foods out of reach
✔️ Store medications and cleaning supplies securely
✔️ Be mindful of toxic plants like lilies and azaleas

Bad Bunny definitely stole the show 🐰✨ He was the best patient ever and did amazing for both his blood draw and his x-rays! He was calm, sweet, and such a good sport through the whole thing. We love when our patients make visits this easy!

This is also a great reminder about how important annual bloodwork is for our pets. Routine bloodwork helps us catch diseases early, even before pets show symptoms. Things like kidney disease, liver disease, valley fever, tick fever, and more can often be detected sooner with simple testing.

Early detection means earlier treatment and better outcomes for our furry friends. Plus, it helps us make sure they’re feeling their best even when everything looks normal on the outside.

A lovely client of ours published a children’s book about her dog, Bear, and gave Dr. Schultz a cameo! Bear saw us to diagnose his blindness and help his owner find ways to help him manage at home.

Meet Mae, one of the amazing techs keeping tails wagging and paws happy at our hospital! 💙

She graduated from PIMA and has been part of our team for about 9 months. In that time, she’s learned so much and is absolutely crushing it! We’re so proud of all the hard work and care she brings every day! 🐶✨

Her furry favorites (in order of photos 🐶📸):
Rex, Mila, Charlie, Titus, Merle, Winston & Kit Kat. 🥰

Outside of work, Mae enjoys:

Dr. Schultz had to perform an emergency surgery last week on her daughter’s donkey, Kiki, who was viciously de-fluffed by their dog. The team sprung into action, placed an IV catheter, got him on fluids, and she successfully repaired his wound! She has reported that he is home safe now, wearing his cone of shame, and getting snuggles from his owner! Phew, that was a close one! 🤍
