Please join us in celebrating one of the most dedicated members of our Therapy Dog Program — Carol and her wonderful pup, Finn! 🐾💙

Carol and Finn faithfully visit our City of Hope North Phoenix location six times each month, bringing comfort, smiles, and moments of joy to patients, families, and staff. Their visits have become something many people look forward to — because sometimes a wagging tail and a gentle nuzzle can brighten even the hardest day.

Recently, Carol was recognized for having the most therapy dog visits per month, a reflection of the incredible time and heart she gives to our community.

We are so grateful to Carol and Finn for sharing their kindness, compassion, and countless tail wags with our patients. Thank you for helping make City of Hope a place filled with warmth, healing, and hope. 🐶✨

Please join us in thanking Carol and Finn in the comments! 💙

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month — a time to raise awareness, encourage screening and support those impacted by this disease.

Colorectal cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers worldwide, but when detected early, it is highly treatable and often preventable through regular screening.

At City of Hope Phoenix, we are committed to advancing prevention, early detection and innovative treatments — bringing hope to patients and families every day.

Talk to your doctor about screening. It could save your life.

Feeling lucky to work alongside a team like this 🍀

Today, our City of Hope crew showed up in their St. Patrick’s Day best, bringing a little extra green (and a lot of heart) to our patients and each other.

While the outfits may be festive, the mission never changes: showing up with compassion, dedication and hope—every single day.

Healing comes in many forms—and sometimes it has four paws and a wagging tail. 🐾💙

Across all three of our Arizona locations, our Therapy Dog Program brings comfort, smiles, and a little extra joy to patients, families, and staff. These incredible pups, along with their dedicated handlers from Mutts On A Mission, visit our campuses to offer gentle companionship during what can be some of life’s most challenging moments.

Whether it’s a quiet moment with a patient, a hallway greeting, or a quick cuddle that brightens someone’s day, these therapy dogs remind us that compassion can be expressed without saying a word.

We are so grateful to our friends at Mutts on a Mission, the amazing handlers who volunteer their time, and of course the very good dogs who bring so much love to our community. 🐶

✨ Sometimes the best medicine is a wagging tail.

Three in four people diagnosed with colorectal cancer before age 50 are already facing advanced disease. For many younger adults, symptoms are overlooked, misunderstood or dismissed, delaying diagnosis when treatment is most effective.

Through earlier evaluation, advanced treatment approaches and comprehensive survivorship care, City of Hope is focused on improving outcomes for younger patients and helping them navigate their diagnosis with confidence.
