“In a world full of words, speeches, and promises, remember that behavior is the greatest language.” -Unknown
“Your greatest responsibility is to use your voice, for there are so many people—too many people—who are never heard, even when they scream.” — Cleo Wade
🆘‼️ Not everyone has the ability or safety to use their voice right now. It is understandable if your nervous system feels activated, if fear or uncertainty is present, or if you are unsure what to do next. These are normal responses to witnessing harm and injustice.
Challenge those feelings and energy by turning toward community care. Visit a local museum or library. Donate to organizations doing the work. Volunteer where support is needed. Create art that allows you to express, grieve, and honor joy—and art that tells the story of your ancestors.
Be a friend to someone. Be a friend even to someone who may not look like you, sound like you, or share your lived experience. Collective care, connection, and action are powerful forms of resistance and healing.
