We are looking for passionate, patient, loving, caring people to join our MECA Team! We cover the Tri-county area: Berkeley, Charleston, Dorchester and also Colleton County. I want to be able to service these areas more efficiently but we need the people. We start out with $12.00/hr. We require background check (SLED), drug screen (5 Panel), and PPD (TB screening) to be completed before we have anyone go into the homes. We would also need those we hire to be trained in CPR. We are looking for an RN who is willing to help out when we get new clients. The RN has to do an assessment to match the care plan before the Aide can go into the home. The nurse has to do an initial 30 day, and then an every 4 month visit with the client. We are looking for those who are willing to be dependable and trust worthy staff to help take care of our vulnerable population. We assist with bathing, feeding, toileting, medication reminders, companionship, ADLs, activities, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, drs appts (if we provide the transportation the employee has to present their insurance card), and quite a few other things.
