I absolutely love teaching about Reparenting yourself when you are a mom who has had her own traumatic childhood experiences. Being a mom with trauma is really hard, and it can be scary to navigate as you fear you are making a mess of parenting.

Did you know…

Childhood abuse is compared to war in its debilitating effects on your ability to function and survive!!!!!! War!!!!! 😳

Did you also know that it can take some of us years to recall that abuse (including neglect) was our experience in childhood?

If you are a mom who is really struggling to connect with your child when they are in their big emotions, you may be feeling triggered.

I know that word is used a lot, but did you also know that until you know you don’t even realize that’s what is happening. Your body is being hijacked by your nervous system response.

This may look like
🥶 Freezing- feeling stuck, unable to respond in a situation, giving up, shutting down

😨 Flight- running away, avoiding, leaving, fantasizing about disappearing

😡 Fight- yelling, screaming, reacting aggressively, slamming things, throwing things, cussing and name calling, threatening

😞 Spending hours on the treadmill or trying crazy meal plans didn’t help me. But one simple change made me go from 211 to 131.

I never thought this would be the solution.

Last year, I couldn’t even take my dogs to the park. I had no energy to do anything. My lower back always hurt, and it was hard to sit or stand for long.

My ankles and hips were sore, and I had trouble bending down or reaching for things.

Even tying my shoes or picking something up from the floor was tough.

I missed family outings because I couldn’t keep up.

It made me sad not to do more with my family.

I tried every solution and workout, but none of them worked until…

I found this “Purple Peel Exploit” that changed my life.

At first, I didn’t believe it, but I tried it anyway.

Now, a few months later, I take my dogs to the park every day. I’m the one who plans family gatherings now!
