At In Home Senior Services, we believe that aging with dignity means having the support to stay in the place you love most—your home.

Since 1994, our women-owned agency has provided compassionate, nonmedical care for Maine seniors and their families. Whether it’s help with daily tasks, companionship, or navigating publicly funded services, we’re here to walk alongside you.

We proudly serve veterans, private pay clients, individuals with long-term care insurance, and those receiving publicly funded support.

Our Story

In-Home Senior Services Inc. was established in 1994 by Anita Francoeur as a private agency to provide in-home care and personal-care services that contribute to the overall well-being of senior citizens and their families. She retired in 2015, and the company is now owned by Kathleen Candage and Theresa Norton. The In-Home Senior Services mission is to enable people to stay in their own homes as an alternative to nursing homes or life-care housing programs.

In-Home Senior Services emphasizes a continuing commitment to high-quality, compassionate, in-home care services. These services include a constant recognition of the dignity, independence and individuality of each person served. Our staff understands the needs and desires of our clients and we adhere to them as closely as possible.

We are community oriented and work closely with various organizations. Our services are paid for by private pay, MaineCare, Veterans Administration and long-term care insurance policies. We specialize in flexible schedules even accommodating one hour visits. The cover the Southern Maine communities.

We take great pride in the level of care we offer our clients. Our greatest achievement is when our clients welcome their caregiver into their homes and treat them like family.
