I remember praying for the man God had destined for me since I was a young girl. I prayed for him everyday, without knowing who he was. Prayed for his heart to know Jesus and love Him as much as I did. 🤍
Today, I am blessed to be living life with the man I prayed for. Blessed because we choose each other every day. Through all the trials and tribulations we may face, we remain faithful to God and to each other. 🤍

I wouldn’t have it any other way.🤍

As a doula, it’s not always easy to come home knowing that a birth ended differently than what my client wanted. So many things are out of our control. We can educate, plan, pray and hope, but ultimately, the outcome, is not in a doulas hands.

As doulas, we have to remember, we are there to support our clients in their experience.

As mothers, we must remember to educate ourselves. To make informed decisions and know what our options are.

As humans, we need to be supportive and set aside our biases and opinions.

If you’re pregnant or plan on becoming pregnant, research, read, educate yourself on what is best for you and your child, not what’s best for someone else’s agenda.

First Mini Murph: ✔️

With a husband serving and a family that understands sacrifice, Memorial Day hits a little differently.

Today’s workout was tough, but it’s a reminder that freedom has never been free.

Grateful for the freedom to challenge my body, push my limits, and remember those who made sacrifices far greater than any workout ever could.

Honoring those who gave everything and carrying gratitude with every step, rep, and breath.

I’ve been a doula for hundreds of families, and each one has received the best of me. 🤍
Being present for a woman and her family during such a vulnerable time in their lives is an honor & a blessing. I will forever be part of their village if they so desire.
So when I receive a call from a repeat client I really do my happy dance, because no review, cash or check is as valuable as being chosen & trusted again with their labor & birth.

Las bendiciones de mis clientes son la mayor recompensa. 🤍 Dios me dio la dicha de descubrir mi vocación, y no pienso dejarla pasar. Aprovecharé la vida y las fuerzas que tengo para apoyar a cada mujer y familia que me reciba en su historia. 🤍
Se que no soy perfecta, y tal vez no sea la acompañante ideal para cada persona. Pero de que haré mi mejor esfuerzo y daré todo de mi, no hay duda.
Toda persona que me elija como su doula, recibirá todo mi cariño y apoyo. Es un honor que no me tomo a la ligera. 🤍

You may have heard about doulas before. You’ve heard that they support the pregnant woman. But what about the partners that want to be involved and don’t know how? That’s where a doula comes in, and helps them support the pregnant, laboring, birthing woman. 🤍
Some of the most special birth conversations have been with husbands, boyfriends, “it’s complicated” partners, grandparents, aunts, cousins, friends. 🤍
When I am welcomed into someone’s birth story, I support them and their team; whoever it may be.
When I believe that everyone deserves support, I mean it.
There’s something special about observing everyone in the room when a new life is welcomed. The moms, dads, the grandparents, everyone’s expressions always warm my heart. 🤍
