Friends, yesterday we gave you a tiny teaser of what our residents were up to… And yes, it was exactly as hilarious as it looked! Our maintenance man, Matt bravely suited up as the biggest turkey on this side of Goshen, and our residents took aim with Nerf guns like seasoned hunters. Let’s just say… Matt never stood a chance.Feathers flew, laughter echoed, and our residents showed no mercy in the most adorable way. Take a look at this video. Trust us it will make your day!

TURKEY SHOOT SNEAK PEEK!

Today’s “turkey” was none other than our fearless Maintenance Director, Matt, fully suited up, wobbling around the halls like it was the Macy’s Parade. Our residents? Oh, they were READY. Nerf guns locked, loaded, and zero mercy in sight.

 Friendsgiving at Green Oaks = a total win! Our hearts (and plates) are officially full! Our Friendsgiving was one for the books, laughter in every corner, families gathering, stories, swapping, hugs everywhere, and enough food to keep us in a happy coma till New Year.

Residents, families, team members…you all brought the magic. There’s something powerful about breaking bread together, it reminds us that community is the real feast.

To everyone who shared a dish, a smile, or a moment of joy today; thank you. This place shines because of YOU.

Manager’s Lunch Out: we earned this one! Our managers finally escaped the building for a much needed lunch together! We laughed, we decompressed, we may have trauma bonded over emails, and yes, we definitely ordered dessert because self-care is real!

Shoutout to this hard-working crew who shows up every day with heart, hustle, and humor.

Today we packed up the Green Oaks energy and took it straight to the The Salvation Army - Elkhart, IN for an unforgettable time with the Prime Timers Club, and let me tell you…these folks can still out-bowl, out-laugh, and out-shine the rest of us!

We rolled some strikes, dipped into calming color therapy, soaked up health-care tips, and shared so many smiles my cheeks are still sore.

There’s just something magical about spending time with people who radiate wisdom, humor, and heart. We can’t wait to go back for more fun, more learning, and more moments that remind us why community matters so much.

Here’s to friendship, fun, and living life fully at every age!

We had the BEST time today playing bingo with our girl, Aubrie from Heart to Heart Hospice. She brought the laughs, the good vibes, and maybe a tiny bit of friendly competition!
