It was installed in 3 sections and the total weight of the stone was 2,800 pounds!

Next is porch #2! We removed the old porch, dug the hole and poured footings and laid the block for the new porch. Then we laid the brick and poured the cement for the new porch. We added brick posts, the step wall and framed out the gable. Stay tuned for an update once the gable is complete!

It has been the season of front porches for us! The first one we completed by removing the first layer of brick and the brick lining the sidewalk. Once the rotted concrete base was exposed we removed it and poured a new base. We finished it off by adding a new brick layer and lining to the sidewalk.
