If I hold on to what I can lose in order to feel a deep sense of security, I will never experience a deep sense of security and will always live in fear of losing what I am holding onto.

If I allow myself to be held by what I cannot lose, I will increasingly feel deeply secure and will be able to allow what I can lose to take its proper place in my life and be grateful for it.
