Greencroft Goshen is a non-profit Continuing Care Living Community (CCLC) providing a continuum of care from independent living homes, at-home services and assisted living to out-patient and in-patient rehab services and skilled nursing care.

Last week was Volunteer Appreciation Week, and across all of Greencroft Communities, we want to say one thing: THANK YOU. 💚

From Walnut Hills to Windsor of Savoy and every campus in between, our volunteers are the unsung heroes who help make our Greencroft campuses special. Their time, compassion, and dedication mean more than words can express.

At our Goshen campus last week, we were honored to host a special Volunteer Recognition Lunch celebrating those who have given hundreds—and even thousands—of hours in service to our communities. From young volunteers to lifelong servants, each person makes a meaningful impact every single day.

To every volunteer across Greencroft Communities: we truly appreciate you and all that you do. 💐

As the very first building on the Greencroft Goshen campus, Central Manor holds a special place in our history. For decades, it has been a community filled with friendship, care, and a strong neighborly spirit.

Today, assisted living at Central Manor offers residents peace of mind with 24/7 personalized support, while still encouraging independence. This month, we’re honored to shine the spotlight on Marla Schrader, a truly incredible member of the Greencroft Goshen volunteer family.

Since 2018, Marla has generously given her time and heart to our community, contributing more than 3,830 volunteer hours across 17 different roles. From serving as a Dining Host Assistant to helping as a Wheelchair Es**rt and supporting our Gift Shops, Marla is always ready to step in wherever she’s needed.

Her kindness, reliability, and genuine heart for service do not go unnoticed—residents and staff alike know they can count on her. When asked what she enjoys most about volunteering, Marla shared:
💬 “It gets me up in the mornings and I like helping people.”

We are deeply grateful for all that Marla brings to Greencroft Goshen. Her dedication and compassion inspire us every day. Thank you, Marla, for being such a bright light in our community! 💙

There’s always something to celebrate at Evergreen Place! 🎉💅

Last week, we were honored to wish a very Happy Birthday to Alma Gingerich—what a special day filled with joy and smiles! 💚

And the fun didn’t stop there! Our ladies also enjoyed some well-deserved pampering during one of our Monday Manicures, sharing laughs and great conversation along the way.

What a wonderful morning out for our Greencroft Goshen community! 🥞💚

A group of 21 staff members, along with several residents, recently enjoyed the annual Salvation Army pancake breakfast—and it was a fantastic time for all!

Adding to the fun, our very own Aimee Riemke was there helping serve up the delicious breakfast. What a special treat to be part of such a great community event!

We love opportunities like this to connect, get out, and share meaningful moments together. 😊

Is there a long-held dream tucked away in your heart? Maybe you’ve always wanted to dye your hair purple, revisit a special place, or finally organize a lifetime of cherished photos. Whatever your dream may be — we want to hear it!

Last year, we helped residents soar in a hot air balloon and ride a locomotive for the very first time. This year, we’re ready to honor even more incredible dreams.

It was a beautiful day filled with music at Evergreen Place! 🎹💚

A few days ago, our residents enjoyed a special piano performance by Lourdes Baltazar from Goshen College. She filled the room with stunning classical music that created a joyful and relaxing atmosphere for everyone.

Moments like these bring so much life and energy to our community—and our residents had an amazing time! 🎶

We love celebrating special moments with our residents! 🎉💚

A few days ago, we honored Cathy on her birthday, and it was a truly joyful occasion. She was joined by two of her daughters, making the day even more meaningful as they celebrated together.

Cathy spent her special day enjoying time with family, playing games with friends, and soaking in all the love around her.
