Bodywork by Annie J. This was the beginning of developing my intuitive capacity to follow the body’s direction.

Licensed Massage Therapist, Somatic Educator & Embodiment Coach in Goshen IN - located inside The Painted Finch art gallery above the Electric Brew at 118 E Washington St. 20 YEARS OF THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE AND BODYWORK PRACTICE have included:

2 years at Kalamazoo Center for The Healing Arts studying Swedish Massage, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Acupressure, Polarity Therapy, and MyoFascial Release. I have studied the nervous system, Polyvagal Theory, and how trauma shows up in the body. No matter what ‘modality’ I may be using at any given moment I am working with the body in a way that brings the nervous system down into parasympathetic mode where healing can take place. I listen with my hands, heart, and entire being for what is happening with a client physically, emotionally, and energetically. From 2021 to 2023 I studied with the Institute of Somatic Sexology and the Sea School of Embodiment to become certified in somatic sex education and embodiment coaching, as well as professionally training in The Wheel of Consent by Dr. Betty Martin in March of 2024.
