1: Tick Season is Here – Check Your Kids!
🌿 It’s officially tick season in the Hudson Valley! Ticks love wooded areas, tall grass, and even your backyard. After outdoor play, always check your kids—especially behind the ears, along the hairline, under arms, behind knees, and around the waistline.
🐜 The sooner you find a tick, the better. Early detection helps prevent the spread of diseases like Lyme.
👉 Found a tick? Our office can safely remove it and send it out for testing—as long as the tick is intact and not damaged.

2: How to Check for Ticks
🔍 After outdoor activities, do a quick head-to-toe check:
✔️ Hairline and scalp
✔️ Behind the ears
✔️ Neck and underarms
✔️ Waistband, groin, and behind the knees
✔️ Between fingers and toes
🧼 After your tick check, have your child bathe or shower to help spot any hidden ticks.
⏰ The earlier you find and remove a tick, the lower the risk of infection.
