To my valued clients,

After much reflection, I am writing to share that I have decided to retire from professional massage therapy. Consequently, CMH Massage will be officially closing its doors.

As many of you know, 2025 was a challenging year for me as I navigated a hand injury and other health concerns. I am incredibly grateful to share that these issues are finally getting under control, but the experience has led me to prioritize my health and my family in this next season of life.

The most exciting news of all? My first grandchild is expected to arrive in February 2026! I will be stepping into the rewarding role of full-time nanny, and I couldn't be more thrilled.

While the business is officially closing, I will still have access to my space until the building is sold. During this transition, I would love to continue seeing my small group of long-time clients for as long as the space is available.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your trust, your business, and the relationships we’ve built. It has been an honor to be part of your wellness journey.

Dear Clients,

Last week, I had a follow-up with a hand specialist regarding my MRI results. Thankfully, there are no tears or broken bones. The specialist found a lot of inflammation and arthritis in my wrist and thumb, which is affecting my hand strength and causing my fingers to lock up. I received injections in all the "tunnels" of my thumb and wrist during this appointment.

The injections have helped, but I am not 100% pain-free yet. I gave a trial massage yesterday to see how my hand would hold up and if I am even able to continue giving massages. While I successfully completed a one-hour massage, my strength is not fully back. I did have one finger mildly lock up during the massage and experienced some soreness afterward.

Due to this ailment, which may worsen with full-time work, I have decided to step back and work very part-time for current clients only.
