Proud Compassionate Care Provider. Reiki is one of many ways we can enhance our life. Taking time for yourself is important and necessary. Reiki is the Japanese word meaning “universal life force energy”. This is an energy that can nurture and heal body, mind, heart and spirit. The practice of Reiki allows anyone to be able to tap into an infinite supply of life force energy to improve one’s health. Energy can stagnate in the body where there has been a physical injury or emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause one to have physical and mental illness. Energy medicine aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure

Reiki is facilitated by a trained Reiki practitioner placing their hands on or over your body channeling light and love energy to you. The client is fully clothed and comfortable. Each energy experience is different and tailored to the recipient. The practitioner works together with the recipients energy to channel exactly what is needed in the session. Many report feeling sensations of tingling, warmth, calmness and surrounded by a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you during a session. It is a simple, natural and safe method of healing and self-improvement that everyone can benefit from. Reiki’s profound benefits are becoming so well known that more than 800 US hospitals have incorporated Reiki as a regular part of patients services. I began my Reiki journey in 2018 after experiencing some major health challenges . The word Reiki was mentioned to me by a medical professional I was seeing at the time and it immediately caught my interest. I always believed you never give up trying things that can help you feel better. It sounded extremely strange to me after doing a search online, however I was pretty open to anything at that point. After a few sessions, I began noticing some real changes in how I was feeling that could not have possibly been coincidence. Needless to say, I was sold. I am grateful to have studied with wonderful mentors in the past couple years in Usui, Karuna and Holy Fire ® III Reiki. I was given an amazing opportunity to practice working with this incredible energy by volunteering locally at the Gouverneur Hospital and the Gouverneur Community Center since 2019. Personally witnessing the amazing effects I experienced on my Reiki journey as well as the amazing feedback from those receiving this therapy, I became a certified Holy Fire® III Reiki Master Teacher in 2020 and an affiliate member with the International Center for Reiki Training. I opened The Sacred Tree Reiki in Gouverneur in 2020 and have been providing private session in my home treatment room by appointment. I hope to continue to help spread this beautiful energy technique to Gouverneur and the surrounding areas. I also offer classes to train those interested in this amazing healing practice. My hope is to help others heal mentally, physically and spiritually to become happier, healthier and whole and to benefit from this therapy as I, and many others have.

Just 30, 45, 60 or 75 minutes laying on the heated gemstone Phymat is a treatment in itself!
I have incorporated this therapy in my Reiki treatments in Gouverneur since opening in 2020 to add a multifaceted approach in working within those subtle energy centers within the body.

I can tell you it’s amazing for inflammation and getting really deep into that muscle tissue. !

✍️ The Weight We Were Never Meant to Carry - We often carry so much in our hearts that was never meant to be held forever. There are the echoes of mistakes made years ago, or the words spoken in heat that we replay endlessly. Then, there are the wounds others have given us—the betrayals that still sting and the disappointments that changed how we see ourselves.

All of this becomes a heavy, unnecessary suffering. It weighs us down, making it so much harder to walk freely through the lives we are meant to live.

But there is a gentle way to release this weight: Forgiveness.

Forgiveness is not about pretending harm didn't happen. It is simply a choice of the heart that says: “I will no longer let this define me. I choose to set this burden down because carrying it is only hurting me now.”

• Forgiving ourselves for being imperfect frees us from the silent prison of shame.
• Forgiving others for their own struggles frees us from the poison of resentment.

When we let go of the story that we must continue to suffer, space opens up inside us. The tightness in our breath eases. Inner peace is not something we have to build; it is the natural light of the heart that reveals itself the moment we set our heavy burdens down.

You deserve to forgive yourself for being human, and to forgive others for being human, too. Let it go—gently, with great compassion to others and to yourself. As you release what you do not need to carry, you will find a quiet, steady peace waiting there to shine.

Whew.. it did not stop coming down today. I kept up pretty well between sessions.
What I learned today is :
1.My door frame is 6 ft high, so anyone taller will need to duck down.😂
2.Mother Nature is beautiful and annoying at the same time,BUT I would’t want it any other way. Makes for a good variety in life.

🌟A beautiful couples session today with the cutest couple dealing with some temporary external stressors that is impacting their relationship.
The 75 minutes just to be still and relaxed allowed for both of them to re-center, assisting them both with their individual pains, and allowed them time sharing a very amazing energy and love together without saying a word. ♥️

A single return client came in on her birthday. She is celebrating a new, less stressful position in her career and is living her best life. She has been doing amazing work after experiencing some unfortunate experiences the past couple years.
Seeing her progress on her journey is so inspiring and only confirms my love for Reiki .♥️

Last night, I met someone from my hometown of Western NY. (Go Bills!).
We had so much in common and she was receiving her very first Reiki Treatment.. She loved it so much and could not believe how relaxed she felt..
She booked another follow up for next month..

I have not met anyone to date who has not benefited from a Reiki treatment and that makes my heart happy😊🫶.

I am available starting Tuesday next week with some availability if you are thinking of booking.

A new client today was looking for relaxation. This was her first Reiki treatment that she was gifted for her birthday . She was so relaxed she stayed laying on the table while we went over her session! She said she felt completely calm.
Her session surprised us with some help with her headaches too!!
