Due to the winter storm warning expected tomorrow, we have made the decision to **postpone our Pancake Breakfast** to ensure the safety of everyone in our community.

This past Saturday we recognized Ronley King for his 10 years of service on the Gowrie fire department. We truly cherished his time and dedication to being on the department! Thank you again Ronley!

🔥🚒 Successful Controlled Burn Training 🚒🔥
Last Saturday September 13th we completed a controlled house burn training exercise.

Everything went safely and according to plan, and our crew gained valuable hands-on experience in fire behavior, suppression tactics, and safety procedures.

We want to thank the community for your patience and understanding while the training took place. Training opportunities like this help ensure we as firemen are well-prepared to respond when real emergencies happen.

👏 A huge thank-you to the volunteers that took time out of there day to come and train. We would also like to thank the Reading-Cedar Fire Department - Farnhamville for coming and helping in this training as well. Being able to work with other departments on trainings like these make it easier to work together in the future in a real life situation. We would also like to thank Isaac Searcy and his family who made this training possible. Your support helps us continue protecting Gowrie and the surrounding area!
