What Is a Blue Sky Massage? At Blue Sky we adjust each session to incorporate different modalities enabling us to provide our clients with a personalized massage session. At our core we are Therapeutic, targeting precise areas of the body with medium to deep pressure while incorporating a full body Swedish Relaxation massage with light to medium pressure designed to help the client’s body relax and mind unwind.

We are pleased to welcome Professional LMT and Alumni Barb Brandner to our Grafton Professional Services.

Barb is a Blue Sky Graduate from the Medical Intensive Track and founder of SHIFT Wellness. After witnessing the profound impact of bodywork, mindfulness meditation, yoga, Reiki, and trauma-informed support on her own body, emotions, and relationships, she felt called to share these modalities with others. SHIFT Wellness is the manifestation of Barb’s personal journey from navigating toxic relationships to embracing a life of service, where she walks alongside others on their paths to wellness. Additionally, Barb is a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher (CMMT) through UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center, a 200-hour Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT-200) with Breathe for Change, a Certified Social-Emotional Learning Facilitator (SEL*F), and a Reiki Master trained in the Usui Ryoho Reiki tradition. With a Healing Trauma Certification from SoundsTrue, Barb is dedicated to helping others regulate their nervous systems, embody safety, and become healing presences in their own lives.

Treatment Menu Full Body Relaxation Massage: Calm body, mind, & spirit as the therapist focuses on your specific needs using slow & rhythmic strokes. Gentle to intermediate pressure is used to release stiffness & fatigue from your body while improving circulation.

Neuromuscular Massage Therapy is a precise specialized form of deep tissue massage in which precision pressure and friction are utilized to release areas of strain (trigger points) in the muscle. This highly specialized type of soft tissue therapy is designed to relieve pain, increase flexibility and is used for chronic pain from sports participation to accidents to everyday stress or strain. This modality can be a focus or it can be incorporated in with your relaxation massage.

CBD Massage: up charge applies. Add the healing properties of CBD oil or pain cream to your session.

Dohi Massage: up charge applies. Dohi (doh-hee) is a Cherokee word meaning Peace, Serenity and Health. Dohi is a Native American style of bodywork that is intended to honor and preserve Native American traditions. This is a therapeutic massage that is infused with a beautiful blend of essential oils (the four plant medicines~sage, sweetgrass, cedarwood and to***co), River rocks from Oklahoma, cornmeal, breathwork and smudging. Its energy and movement all set to the rhythm of Native American drum and flute music. This is not only a therapeutic massage but a technique that is deeply relaxing and amazingly healing. Every movement, every item, and every technique has a meaning and holds a prayer - a healing intention for your highest good.
