TOMORROW! Join the City of Graham, NC, for the fifth annual 9/11 Commemorative 5K Event on Saturday, September 6. Along with the 5K, the day will include a non-competitive 1-mile run/walk, a Runner Services station in the fire bays, a Touch-A-Truck area, a blood drive, games, and music with a live DJ.

Street Closures for the Event: The Northbound lane of Maple Street from Mcaden Street to Pine Street, Mcaden Street from South Main Street to Maple Street, a southbound lane of South Main Street from Pine Street to Mcaden Street, Pine Street from South Main Street to Maple Street will be closed on the day of the event from 6:00am to 12:00pm.

This community event is coordinated by Graham Recreation & Parks, Graham Fire City of Graham NC Fire Department, and Graham Police Department.

Event Date: Saturday, September 6, 2025
Event Times: 7:00am – 11:00am
Location: City of Graham – City Hall Campus

The City of Graham, NC, proudly presents the 5th Annual 9/11 Commemorative 5K Run/Walk. Show your spirit by wearing red, white, and blue as we honor and remember together.

This community event includes:
• 5K Run/Walk
• A non-competitive 1-Mile Run/Walk
• The First Responders Team Cup 5K (Fire, Police, EMS, and Military teams)
• Runner Services station in the fire bays
• Touch-A-Truck area
• Yard games at the Park & Play Mobile Recreation Van
• Music with a live DJ

The event is open to everyone, and all are welcome to participate! Registration is now open through August 31 at 11:59pm (day of registration will be available)

Donations will be collected to support the Children of Fallen Heroes organization, which provides resources and immediate assistance to children and spouses of fallen First Responders and Military heroes. With your help, we can continue to make a positive difference in their lives.
