We tried something new today at BeeHive Homes of Grain Valley. We took a field trip to Burr Oak Nature Center in Blue Springs, Missouri. And when we came back home, we had some very talented musicians waiting for us.

Trombone Mike paid his first visit to BeeHive Homes today, but certainly not his last. Our residents just loved him.

Fun fact: he went to Game 6 of the 1985 World Series and is a die hard Royals fan. So glad to have him out.

This has been such a fun week at BeeHive Homes of Grain Valley. Yesterday, we had the KC Dazzlers out to put on a show and they did not disappoint. Today, some volunteers showed up and did a LOT of yard work for us. And this afternoon, we were fortunate enough to have such a nice day that we had lunch outside. Big shoutout to our activities coordinator Amy Johnston and our concierge Janelle Hafner for making this all come to fruition.

We have a new art technique that da Vinci himself would be proud of. We also got outside to tell stories from our time growing up. And some new friends are being made. Just your typical Tuesday at BeeHive Homes of Grain Valley.

Oh, where to start today in the Valley of the Grain, in the Hive of Bees. We received some flowers, had a Red Hat Society event, did an art project, and had the Grain Valley High School Student Government pay our residents a visit. It was a great week.

We're not ones to let the grass grow under our feet here at BeeHive Homes of Grain Valley. Today we've already had a dog visit, a bible study, a hula hoop contest, (personally we think Hattie has been juicing) a birthday, and we made a pottery craft. We hope your Thursday is going as splendidly as ours.
