Aluminum ramps are expensive! So, when Veteran, Shirley Finch, and her children, Don and Karen Finch, wanted to donate 2 of them to us (at an estimated value of $15,000) we knew we needed to jump on the opportunity! These ramps will help our next wheelchair-bound Veteran and is integral to everything we do in Veteran Services!

Veterans helping veterans. It's what we do. Our own licensed therapist, Theresa Covington, LPC and retired master sergeant leads the groups to help those struggling with mental health issues such as PTSD, depression and anxiety. It's FREE for veterans and their families thanks to the Texas Veterans Commission and T E X A S Rescue Inc , Texas Equine Xperience And Sanctuary. Join us Thursdays from 4:30-6:30. Our Veterans group-night participation was OUTSTANDING this evening at T.E.X.A.S. Rescue! ✨🇺🇸✨ YOU too can be a part by simply joining us on Thursdays from 4:30-6:30 for lighthearted conversation, discussions that may hit close to home, hearing that you are not alone, and a licensed-therapist who is also a Veteran is there for group discussion.

Then, out to visit the donkeys! 🫏 If you haven’t experienced their love and understanding, then you are truly missing out! Lots of sharing occurs during this time, as everybody is experiencing the same level of understanding from the donkeys. You really won’t believe it’s real! 🫏🥰🫏

A casual debrief with the therapist, and the evening is over and everyone is anticipating next week!

We have more fun and challenges for everyone in the very near future! 🤩 You will definitely want to experience this!
