Big Leo Energy Post🌹
I saw a reel this morning about "Leo Psychology Facts." LOL. It was genuinely a good try, and visually stunning. The content was surface level spot on, with a lack of foundational understanding of psychology, and astrology. We all contain the energy of every sign, every archetype. We are not bound by boxes, labels, or constellations.
Leos get a lot of blanket statements about our "egos", and this idea that we want "admiration". And it's not just Leos. Anyone shining big light in the world can be deeply uncomfortable for people conditioned to be small and keep others small....
..Through little fault of their own. We live in a society that preaches "love yourself" but ridicules you if you do. A society that says outside approval is essential to our survival. A society that values appearance above all else. A society that teaches us to hide. A society that is so threatened by authentic expression of humanity, it does whatever it needs to do to shame us out of being ourselves. A shame driven society.
I know so many amazing courageous people doing good things out in the world, and so many others that are constantly trying to invalidate the work they are doing...because their parents invalidated them, because society, religion, mean girls, and abusive men invalidated them...because they are now conditioned to invalidate others in order to desperately mask their own feelings of invalidation.
Because they were taught self love is egotistical, self care is selfish, self expression is shameful. Because a shame driven society has raised inherently good children to become controllable "good girls", and an abusive society has taught these same "good girls" to control other women by being mean girls.
Here's an unpopular opinion: It's not just the men that are the problem in the patriarchy. It's also the women. Many of us have become parts of the machine, effectively shattering ourselves with the voice of the patriarchy living inside our heads. Controlling our thoughts, our narratives, our behaviors.
But women are stronger than that. Women are stronger than the patriarchy. Stronger than societal conditioning. Stronger than shame. You and I are STRONGER than shame. Do not let them steal your voice. Do not let them live rent free in your head. Do not let them control your narrative. RECLAIM YOURSELF.
If you're ready to break some massive limiting beliefs, this Leo is here to help you shed light on the blocks to success and empowerment, and break free from old ways of being. Break free with love, compassion, truth, and self responsibility.
It's not ego. It's cultivated self confidence, radical self belief, and devoted faith in Spirit that we are here for a reason, and our time is too precious to waste with people, places, and situations that are not authentically committed to a healing path.
It's not admiration from the outside we want. It's COLLABORATION with others we admire so we can GET SH*T DONE. People with genuine respect for each other working together as a team GET SH*T DONE. And that's what Leo is all about. The Lion Heart builds community, generates and shares resources, teaches with wisdom, leads with integrity, and paves the way for others to step into their spiritual leadership...and there's a Lion Heart within us all.
