Middle Park Health and Steamboat Orthopaedic & Spine Institute are proud to introduce Dr. Aaron Black, a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, with additional expertise in orthopaedic trauma.

Dr. Black earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and Italian from Colorado College before completing a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences at Loyola University Chicago and his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. He then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, followed by a sports medicine fellowship in Taos, New Mexico.

Dr. Black is seeing patients at the SOSI Fraser Clinic and performing surgeries at Middle Park Health's Granby Campus. To schedule an appointment call 970.364.2070.

This Saturday, April 11th, our Granby Walk-In Clinic will have modified hours - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Our Winter Park Walk-In Clinic is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and all three Emergency Departments are open 24/7, 365 days a year.

They were the number one seed in their league going into the playoffs, but unfortunately lost in the first round to the Vicious Cycle team, ranking 5th overall for the season.

“Together for health. Stand with science.” 🔬🩺

This year's World Health Day theme is in celebration of the power of scientific collaboration to protect the health of people, animals, plants, and the planet. World Health shouldn't be the focus on just one day, but rather every day, and this next year's focus is both on scientific achievements and the multilateral cooperation needed to turn evidence into action.

Without the power of science and innovation, healthcare would look a lot different today, so we're thanking all the amazing scientists and healthcare professionals who have contributed to advancements that allow us to provide exceptional care at Middle Park Health.

Middle Park Health has recently been made aware of some patients receiving fraudulent phone calls in regards to overdue bills and demanding immediate payment.

Middle Park Health and our billing partner BC Services will never ask for banking information to verify patient information. The only information they will ask for is your name, date of birth, address, and only in certain circumstances, the last four digits of your social security number.

If you are the victim of a fraud attempt, please do not provide any banking information. If you have questions regarding your bill, you can visit our website to view Billing FAQs or access your MyChart account to view billing information. Additionally, you can call Customer Service at 970.887.5885.

Our Story

Kremmling Memorial Hospital District, now doing business as Middle Park Health, is a 25 bed, critical access hospital system serving patients in Grand & Northern Summit County, Colorado since 1933 and at a family practice clinic in Walden since 2012. The hospitals in Granby & in Kremmling are both designated as a Level IV Trauma Centers. Middle Park Health has five family medicine clinics, one located at the hospital in Kremmling, another at the hospital in Granby, Winter Park, Grand Lake and one in Walden which goes by the name, North Park Medical Center.
