Strength Training and Recovery (STAR Rehab) is an intensive evidence-based out-patient rehab clinic offering physical therapy and occupational therapy. Our clinic has been serving Grand Blanc and the surrounding communities for over 17 years. We are located on the Ascensions Campus in the front end of the Athletic Club. clinic has an array of equipment, an advanced gait lab and well trained team members to accommodate a wide range of diagnosis from orthopedic to neurological. Origami Rehabilitation has been a leader in specialized rehabilitation services for nearly 30 years, and we are thrilled to continue STAR Rehab’s legacy of exceptional care and deep community roots.

📣 Exciting News for STAR Rehab! 📣

We're thrilled to share that STAR Rehab will officially join the Origami Rehabilitation community effective January 1, 2025! After 20 years of providing exceptional rehabilitation services in the Grand Blanc community, STAR Rehab will soon be known as Origami East.

Origami Rehabilitation is a nonprofit organization based in Lansing, Michigan, that has specialized in treating children and adults with neurological, developmental, mental health, and orthopedic conditions for over 27 years.

With Origami's longstanding commitment to excellence, your trusted therapists, high-quality care, and personalized service will remain the same—with the expanded resources and expertise of the Origami support network!

STAR Rehab will eventually be called Origami East, but the main phone number, address, and business hours will remain the same.

Our Story

S.T.A.R. Rehab specializes in neurological and orthopedic injuries. Our clients consist primarily of people with spinal cord injuries (SCI), amputations, mild traumatic brain injuries, Stroke, MS, CP. We offer a variety of services from PT, SLP, Aquatic, Massage, Adaptive Sport Training, Free Nutritional Counseling, Certified Peer Mentoring and Adaptive Recreational activities. Sessions are based on each individual's tolerance.
