We shared the exciting news with the residents that we were hosting a May Day celebration this afternoon. Margaret was kindly asked to assist Jennifer with the party preparations, unaware that the festivities were actually in her honor. Her son pulled off an incredible surprise by flying in from Florida. We all reveled in cake and ice cream. It was truly heartwarming. Everyone was taken aback, and it was a flawless afternoon. Margaret is turning 97 this Saturday, surrounded by loved ones. What a wonderful way to kick off her special weekend. Happy birthday, Margaret. 🥰🎉🎉

This afternoon the residents thought we were having a May Day party. It was actually a surprise birthday party for our sweet Margaret who is turning 97 tomorrow!

We had a fabulous lunch at the Lennon Cafe. A few new residents had never been there and it was enjoyable to hear all the mmm’s as they smiled and savored their food. A favorite for some was liver and onions! Don’t forget to get a homemade piece of pie! 🥧 👍🏻👍🏻
