***edit*** we ended up not shopping after lunch. After loading the bus leaving Olive Garden, they had had enough of the cold and were ready to call it a day.

Our Friday fun today is eating at Olive Garden. After we’re full and can’t move, we’re headed down the road to the Blue butterfly thrifts and gift shop to do alittle Christmas shopping. We’re also pretending it’s warm outside. 🤪🎄❄️

Tuesday night was our annual Christmas concert with the Men’s Arrowhead Chorus. They do such a great job and we look forward to their yearly visit. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas! 12-16-25

It was a bit chilly outside, but that didn’t stop us from attending the High School Winter Wonderland Christmas concert and luncheon. We’ve been there a few times, and we all agree that they do a great job! We listened to the choir, band, and orchestra and then had a delicious meal. We’re looking forward to the next event and attending the spring play, “Once Upon a Mattress”. 12-16-25 🎄 🎶 🍽️

The McGrath elementary 5th graders came to sing Christmas carols with us this morning. After the singing was done, the kids visited with the residents and passed out Rudolph the red nose reindeer jingle bell necklaces. We loved every second of their visit. ♥️ 12-15-25

🧸 Today 12-15-25 ends another successful Toys for Tots toy drive.

🧸 A heartfelt THANK YOU to all who donated new toys and helped put a smile on a child’s face Christmas morning.

🧸 Abbey Park will have the toys for tots donation box back out next October - December 15th.

❄️ Today 12-15-25 ends another successful season of coats for kids.

🧤Multiple boxes of new and gently used coats, snowpants, gloves and scarfs were donated at our Abbey Park drop box location.

🧥Abbey Park will have a coat box out again in October 2026 to kick off the next coat drive.

🧣Thank you for keeping local kids warm this winter.
