We are SO excited to officially introduce the incredible staff who help make Rise & Shine Orthopedics such a special place for kids and families. This team brings skill, heart, patience, and a whole lot of smiles to every single visit — and I couldn’t be more grateful to work alongside them.

🩻 Our full-time radiology technologist is a rockstar at capturing high-quality, low-dose X-rays while being calm, gentle, and endlessly patient with even our littlest patients. Parents notice. Kids feel it. Great images + a reassuring presence = a win every time.

🏃‍♀️ Our certified athletic trainer, serving as Dr. Frye’s clinical assistant, brings a deep understanding of sports, movement, and injury care to your visit. From athletes to active kids to everyday bumps and injuries, that sports medicine expertise helps elevate the care and education families receive in the exam room.

📋 And holding it all together at the front desk is our master multitasker — an experienced medical receptionist who keeps things running smoothly from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Scheduling, check-in, questions, paperwork, reassurance — all handled with efficiency, warmth, and a genuine smile.

This team is the heart of Rise & Shine Orthopedics. They care deeply, work incredibly hard, and treat every family like their own. We’re so proud of what we’re building — and we can’t wait to welcome you into our clinic. 💙🧡

What a fun day in clinic! 💛 Gianna made our morning - she absolutely loved the playroom, and she was such a joy to hang out with. Big smiles, lots of laughs, and cozy bean bags = a pretty perfect visit. This is exactly why we created a space where kids can feel relaxed, happy, and at home. Thank you for coming to see us! ☀️

This sunrise photo is the latest addition to the clinic decor - and it’s my absolute favorite. ❤️ It was taken by my dad from his cottage on Lake Huron during the early years our family shared there together — a place filled with meaningful memories.

Lake Huron has always held a special place in our hearts, and there’s something incredibly grounding about the sunrise side of Michigan — quiet, hopeful, and steady. It felt only right to bring a piece of that calm and meaning into this space.

At Rise & Shine Orthopedics, we strive to value the depth found in the details, rise to lead with intention, and recognize the potential in each day while working to brighten the days of others. This photo is a gentle reminder of those values and of the kind of care we hope every family feels when they walk through our doors.

As we get closer to opening our doors and welcoming our first patients, if your child was previously seen by Dr. Frye, please read this important information:

Rise & Shine Orthopedics is a separate and independent medical practice and is not affiliated with Sports Medicine & Orthopedics of Grand Blanc.

Because of this, any patients who previously saw Dr. Frye at that practice will be considered new patients at Rise & Shine Orthopedics and will need to complete new patient registration.

We are unable to access or transfer medical records from the prior practice — including notes written by Dr. Frye — so patients will need to request their records directly and have them faxed, mailed, or brought to their appointment.

Appointments scheduled at Sports Medicine & Orthopedics of Grand Blanc do not transfer automatically, as the practices have different ownership and no connection.

We truly apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we open our new office and care for patients in a fully independent setting.

One of my favorite finishing touches in the office: our new wall décor featuring Cody, our office dog, in a sports-themed montage 🐾🏀⚾️🎾

It’s meant to be lighthearted, a little unexpected, and full of personality—because details matter. I want kids to walk in and feel comfortable right away, parents to take a deep breath, and families to feel like this is a place that gets it.

This office is being built with intention—from the big things down to the small, fun surprises. Those little moments of comfort and joy can make a big difference, and I hope they make families happy they chose to be here. 💙

….Added a lighted gumball machine too. I mean, just had to have it! 😜

Boxes, big plans, and a heart full of gratitude. Loved being hands-on with this space, having my son jump in to help between final exam study sessions, and of course Cody checking out every corner. The playroom is a true vision come to life—and this dream is becoming real. 💙

✨ Construction Update at Rise & Shine Orthopedics! ✨

Our lighted sign went up yesterday and it is so cool. 🤩 A vision turned into reality right before our eyes!

Inside the office, things are coming together quickly — sinks are installed, plumbing is good to go, and our windows have their new treatments. Fresh paint is going on the walls today and the whole space is really starting to shine. 🌟

We even got to test out the front desk with a small Frye seated and ready to greet guests — official greeter in training! 💛

Every step makes it feel more real, and we cannot wait to welcome you all through these doors soon! 💙✨

Our lobby ceiling lights are officially installed and they look amazing — bright, clean, and ready to SHINE!

But the real star today? 🌟 Our playroom light… and it is truly OUT OF THIS WORLD! 🚀🪐🌍✨
