Our Story

Dr. Fares received his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 1982. He then completed his surgical internship and residency training at Flint Osteopathic Hospital in Flint, Michigan.

At Grand Blanc Surgical Specialist, we offer the complete spectrum of general surgery, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures for our patients. We strive to give our patients care we would expect our own family to receive in a safe, professional, and caring environment. With affiliates at Genesys Regional Medical Center, McLaren Regional Medical Center, and Hurley Hospital, we offer a flexible schedule for patients when scheduling procedures.

We are a medical practice that continues to adapt and transform to provide top-quality healthcare to a growing and diverse community. For that reason, we've taken to social media to provide enhanced health and patient education for our patients.
