“Why?! I don’t need to let go. I’m fine.”
“What does that even mean?”
“How?!”
Letting Go is natural law. This is the season of Fall. Hence the word FALL. Leaves let go of their grip, and before they do they embody so many of their beautiful colors. They let go, and fall to the Earth. Giving back, nutrients to the soil for the tree to continue living and growing.
To let go, we need to embody the colors of what we are letting go of. We need to FEEL what it is what are letting go of. When we let go of that energy, we are giving it to something else. Everything is energy. It’s neither created nor destroyed. When we give our energy to the Earth, or the Ether, these forces have the power to transform this energy to something greater. It’s OKAY to let go. It’s NECESSARY to let go.
When you let go, you create space. When you let go of fear, you create space for courage. When you let go of resentment, you create space for forgiveness. When you let go of sadness, you create space for contentment. When you let go of attachments, you create space for freedom.
Okay so how?! Many different ways. You may already have ideas. Some practices are
🦋 showering and bathing with the visualization that the water is washing away what no longer serves you.
🦋 Exhale! You do this thousands of time a day. Now bring your awareness here. Exhale ALL of the air out of your body, through your mouth and Let. It. Go.
🦋 Grounding! Step outside barefoot. Give the Earth a hug. Visualize roots growing out from the base of your spine. Visualize a chord dropping out of the base of your spine and anchoring in to the core of the earth.
🦋 Movement. Shake! Dance, letting the movement be an expression of the emotions moving through you. Let go. Yoga! Move and breathe it out.
🦋 Hip openers. We store ALOT of energy in our hips, for many reasons. I’ll get into that another time. Are your hips tight? Stretch. Hold the pose 2-3 minutes, deep breaths.
🦋 Oil Pulling! Swish coconut oil in your mouth for 15 minutes. Coconut oil pulls the toxins out of your body, let em go!!
🦋 Cleansing - fasting, juice cleanse, smoothie cleanse, Ayurvedic cleanse, enigmas. Many many different cleanses!
