Post 5 of Many | Edge of the Earth Feels 🏞️☀️
This stretch of the journey was all about standing on the edge—of cliffs, of history, of wonder.

📍 Day 11 Highlights:
➡️ Page, AZ—small town, big scenery.
➡️ Hiking to Horseshoe Bend—a short walk with a jaw-dropping payoff. The power of the Colorado River, winding below, left us in awe.
➡️ Grand Canyon’s Desert View Watchtower—views for miles, with echoes of the past in every stone.
➡️ South Rim Trail stroll—endless vistas, cool breezes, and that feeling you only get standing at the edge of something truly massive.
➡️ Visitor Center stop—a deeper dive into the canyon’s layers of time, geology, and people.

It’s impossible to capture the scale, but one thing’s for sure: the Grand Canyon earns every bit of its name. 🏜️💨

Swipe to see curves, cliffs, and colors that feel almost unreal.

Post 4 of Many | Sacred Lands & Starry Skies 🌄✨
The journey took a powerful turn as we traveled deeper into the Four Corners region—where ancient cultures, stunning landscapes, and rich stories meet.

📍 Day 9–10 Highlights:
➡️ Mesa Verde National Park—cliff dwellings that left us speechless, walking in the footsteps of the Ancestral Puebloans.
➡️ Meeting a Ute guide who shared stories passed down through generations—an unforgettable connection.
➡️ Trying Navajo fry bread for the first time—crispy, warm, and absolutely delicious.
➡️ 4 Corners Monument—one foot in four states, all at once!
➡️ Monument Valley at sunset—those silhouettes against the desert sky were pure magic.
➡️ San Juan Trading Post & Café—a hidden gem where we dove deeper into Navajo cuisine and hospitality.

These days were filled with reverence, learning, and a deeper appreciation for the people and cultures who have called this land home for centuries. 🌍❤️

Swipe to witness beauty that can’t be measured in miles.

Post 3 of Many | Desert Dreams & Dino Tracks 🦖🌄
The adventure rolled on—through red rock wonderlands and prehistoric paths that made us feel like explorers in a different era.

📍 Day 6–8 Highlights:
➡️ Big Sky Country to Utah canyons—each bend in the road brought sharper cliffs and warmer skies.
➡️ Mill Canyon Dinosaur Trail—yes, those are actual dinosaur tracks in the stone!
➡️ Dead Horse Point State Park—legends, layers, and a sunset that stopped us in our tracks.
➡️ Arches National Park—natural stone arches that defy gravity and time.
➡️ Moab—quirky, colorful, and full of energy. A perfect basecamp.

From fossils underfoot to stars overhead, these days reminded us how ancient—and alive—the West really is. 🌌🧭

Swipe to step into time, stone, and sun-drenched beauty.

Post 2 of Many | The Road Gets Wilder 🚗🦬
From rushing mountain roads to ancient trails, the middle leg of our 12-day journey brought pure magic.

📍 Day 3–5 Highlights:
➡️ National Trails Museum in Casper, WY—learning about those who blazed the path west.
➡️ Crowheart Butte—a quiet Wyoming gem nestled between peaks.
➡️ Hiking in the Grand Tetons—jagged beauty that made us feel tiny in the best way.
➡️ Entering Yellowstone from Montana’s west gate—geysers, bison, and wild colors at Grand Prismatic Spring.
➡️ Watching Old Faithful erupt just as a storm rolled in ⚡🌋.

9 states. Countless views. And we were only halfway through…

Swipe to see murals, mountains, and moments that reminded us how vast and beautiful this country truly is. ❤️🇺🇸

Some earth things are truly magical... crystals in all colors dug from the earth, and seeing Aurora Borelais from my back deck.
Taken with a cell phone 3 second & 10 second shutter. (I took a ton of pics, so beautiful. These are my faves!)

This is Lily's 6th year raising funds and participating with St. Baldrick's to find a cure for childhood cancer. 💙🍀💛

💙Lily's why is she participates with St. Baldrick's because she knows the money she raises goes to help find a cure for childhood cancer.

🍀This year I'm joining Lily to raise money and shave my head.

💛My why I've watched my child raise money for this cause; a cause that she's passionate about for the last 5 years. This year I want to join her, raise money as a team effort. My child inspires me with her selfless acts of kindness.

🍀Please consider supporting Lily & I, you can donate on our links or share this post.

Proud Momma moment! ❤️

My Lily participated in Slugfest @ Centennial 2023, a fundraiser event for our youth sports organization.

In her age group for girls, she hit a softball 192 feet & 2 inches! She took home a handmade plaque for winning!

She hit the ball further than most people who participated in various age groups.

Joe participated, too!

(The picture of Lily with her flag, the white line behind her, was the 200-foot line.)
