A logo tells a story if you let it, and mine reflects what I believe about all of us. We are not fragments. We are whole, even when the world asks us to choose.

The red seal reads 닥틀러, Dachtler, written in Korean. A name seal is one of the most personal symbols in Korean tradition. It says: this is who I am.

The Obangsaek color bar represents the five elements of Korean tradition, blended with the black, red, and yellow (gold) of the German flag, celebrating the dual heritage that shaped my identity. Nothing hidden, nothing erased, all parts equally important.

I founded Dachtler Therapy because I believe the right therapist doesn't just treat symptoms — they see you.

Your whole story. Your culture, your identity, the things that shaped you, and the things you're still figuring out.

As a Transnational Transracial Adoptee raised in the upper Midwest, I know what it means to carry questions about who you are and where you belong. That lived experience is woven into every session I hold.

But this practice isn't only for people who share my story. It's for anyone who has ever felt unseen, stuck, or caught between who they are and who the world expects them to be.

Whether you're working through anxiety, navigating a life transition, healing from trauma, or exploring what identity and belonging mean for you, Dachtler Therapy offers trauma-sensitive, culturally humble care that starts where you are.

Meet Dachtler Therapy.

This has been a long time coming, and I am so excited to finally introduce you to what I've been building. Trauma-sensitive, culturally humble mental health care for individuals ages 8 and up, families, and couples.

Every detail of this logo is intentional and deeply personal. The colors and seal merge both Korean and German heritage harmoniously. My roots aren't just a part of my story; they're the foundation of this practice.

And so it begins.
