What do we do?!

Co-located at the University of North Dakota and the Western Interstate Commission on Higher Education (WICHE), the Mountain Plains MHTTC serves the states of Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. The primary focus of the center is to provide free training, resources, and technical assistance to individuals serving persons with mental health disorders, especially those with serious mental illness or a serious emotional disturbance. Particular attention is given to serving providers with limited access to service delivery systems with a focus on rural and agricultural communities. By providing free, innovative and accessible learning opportunities on research-based practices in mental health services, we seek to help you better serve your communities, staff, and patients.
