Best Foot Forward Foot Care Best Foot Forward is a service provided by an RN promoting quality, safe foot care to individuals who have difficulty managing their own foot health.

While working as an RN for over 30 years in ICU, Cardiac Care, Home Health and Hospice nursing, I observed that the care of feet is an often neglected area by health care professionals. There is an unmet need in our aging society for routine foot assessment and foot care for high risk individuals with existing conditions such as diabetes, vascular insufficiency, visual and/or mobility impairment. I have received specialized training and certification in medical foot care at the University of Wisconsin to help assist seniors and high risk clients take care of their feet. Consistent care of the feet is fundamental to mobility, comfort and independence especially in the elderly.
