Go above and beyond, community gives back.
While purchasing toys for Truyuโ€™s pediatric reconstructive patients, employees were assisted by Ms Laurie Sayre. Upon discovering the purpose of the toys, she reached out and wished to donate towards the cause in honor of her daughter, Samantha Edwards. The eve of June 14th, the 9th anniversary of her daughterโ€™s passing, Ms Sayre provided Samanthaโ€™s personal collection of like-new stuffed animals to bring a little comfort to Altruโ€™s children. Samantha Edwards, Minot Native, community member, and 2003 Miss North Dakota, passed away suddenly from a heart condition June, 14th, 2016.
Samantha was known for bringing joy to all around her, and her donation will continue to bring comfort to the children of the community.
