🎶 Happy World Music Therapy Week! 🎶

At Valley Senior Living, music isn’t just something you hear in the dining room during meal time or during worship service, it’s something you can feel, share with your neighbors and friends, and something you can experience together almost every day because of our amazing music therapy program.

Our care communities are filled with the sound of connection. From singing choirs and chime choirs to rock band, guitar lessons, and even an Orff band, there are so many ways for residents to engage with music. The music therapy program offers personalized one-on-one music therapy sessions, meaningful and compassionate end-of-life music offerings, and group sessions that bring people together in powerful ways.

With the assistance of and under the direction of music therapists Lindsey Moffitt and Jill Swingen, residents are often enjoying and creating music! Nearly every single day you will find music in the care we provide.

We’re grateful for the passion, heart and dedication the music therapists bring to residents, family members and the care partners. Music has a way of reaching places words cannot, and at Valley, it plays a meaningful role in enriching lives and strengthening connections. 💚

✝️ The Valley Senior Living Foundation is excited for our 11th Annual Around Our Table & Quilt Auction on April 18 at Calvary Lutheran Church. Doors open at 9:00 AM.

This event supports Chaplaincy Ministry at Valley Senior Living, ensuring spiritual care is available to residents, families, and care partners across all levels of care. Around Our Table has grown into a meaningful gathering that reflects connection, generosity, relationships, and community support.

Exciting News: 💚 We are especially looking forward to a beautiful performance by the Tufte Manor Chimes Choir, adding a meaningful and joyful part of the morning as we come together in support of this important ministry.

There are many ways to be involved:

We were moving and grooving this afternoon at Tufte. A very active group of local Amazon delivery drivers joined us.

Long Term Care Administrator’s Week: Honoring Angie Goulet
🎉 Happy Administrator’s Week! 🎉

This week we celebrate and recognize the leadership and dedication of our Administrator, Angie Goulet. Beginning her journey with Valley in 1997 as a Licensed Nurse at Valley on Columbia (then Valley Eldercare), she has served in many roles over the years, including Treatment Nurse, Charge Nurse, MDS Care Coordinator, Director of Personal Care Services, and now Administrator of Tufte Manor.

Her many years of service reflect a commitment to residents, staff, and the mission of Valley. Thank you for the difference you make every day. We are grateful for all you do!
