We have extra cupcakes. 2 parties for birthdays had to cancel this weekend due to Brent being sick. I have a half dozen red velvet and 2 dozen chocolate peanut butter cup with peanut butter frosting. $10 for a half dozen $20 for a dozen. Anyone want?? Must pick up in GF

Definitely been doing more baking since the medical break. I've mastered an AMAZING no bake cheesecake cups, my monster cookies are always requested and been playing with new recipes a lot. Kind of fun to get back in the kitchen some!!

Just a quick update. Its going to be very to the point. November 9, my husband was told it was a 50/50 chance of I come out of septic shock alive or not. After 5 days in the hospital, I'm home. But with some very strict restrictions. So while I do have to cancel the sip and shop in Clifford this weekend, I also have a lot of decisions to make in my business.

I know I have a few fixes. And trust me, those will happen. But my husband and I have a million things running through our minds about how to continue my business SAFELY. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Until we figure this out, stay tuned!! :)

Change in plans Devils Lake!

As we're setting up, Brent does a walk and there is another permanent Jewelery person. We talked to the coordinator and decided to leave as 2 of the same business doesn't always do well. And we went and talked to the other people and explained the situation and referred our 2 appointments to them. I told them since they are local it makes sense that they stay. There was no hard feelings between any of the 3 of us.

So if you were planning on coming, make sure to hit up Lock's n Beards in the mall instead!!

So instead I'm spending the day with Brent getting ready for the garage sale instead...lol

Oh my goodness!! After surgery last Monday this whole last week feels like the longest week EVER. Which I'm not sure how that's possible when I accomplished NOTHING. LOL.

It's time for my next show already!! DEVILS LAKE!! I'm coming at ya this weekend to Festi-Fall at City Plaza!! I'll post the schedule tomorrow as only a few are filled in! I can't wait to bring Permanent Jewelery to Devils Lake!!

2 days post op. Finally starting to feel human. After 2 days in bed, this is a very welcome change!! So I've been doing my PT, and back to work tomorrow! Post op appointment next Monday and find the next step :)

well....i had an MRI on the knee yesterday. Today was my appointment to give me the juicy gossip on what's happening in the knee. It's kind of as i figured. I have a torn meniscus. But the tear is happening in 2 places. Then let's throw in some osteoarthritis and some water on the knee and a bunch of inflammation...lol

Moral of the story is I have surgery on the 18th. lol and I'm old.

What this means for Silvergate Designs...I will still be doing all scheduled shows! Maybe with a helper....that will go show by show...

I'm still hoping to get to the Mayville/Galesburg area for some fixes on the 14th (that's my thought right now!) but basically a small table by my trunk of my car and just do fixes right there so I don't have to haul stuff left and right :)

September is completely BOOKED!! I have one Saturday booked in October, 1 in November and December I will be keeping my calendar clear for NEW Grandbabies!! And a trip to South Carolina to see the kids!! January will be a little unknown also with the SECOND GRANDBABY coming!!

Let me know if you need anything! I know I need to get to Mayville soon for a few fixes! But it will be a BUSY fall/winter season!!
