Memory Café/Unforgettables Choir

Here is my information for the announcements this week.
The Memory Cafe will be held next week on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 1:00-3:30pm. Julie Praska-Moser, Program Manager with the Alzheimer's Association, will be our speaker.
Julie and Mary Ann are teaming up to present a series of classes called, "The Empowered Caregiver," over the next 5 months.
The program on January 14 will begin at 1:30 pm and will be about
"The Empowered Caregiver: Building Foundations" . The presentation explores ways to build a support team and manage caregiver stress while supporting a person or family member living with dementia.

The November Memory Cafe will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 1:00-3:30 pm. The program "Medicare, Medicaid & Dementia" will begin at 1:30 pm with Brent Vik, Farmers Union Insurance Agent & Kari Langan, Fianancial Counselor with Altru will be our speakers. Refreshements will be served following the concert. The Memory Cafe is located inside Calvary Lutheran Church, 1405 S. 9th St. All are welcome to attend!

The Unforgettables Choir (some members) at the Walk to End Alzheimer's in Sertoma Park on Sept 29, 2024. It was hot (87 degrees) & windy but they sang anyway and then many of them walked! These people are champions!

The walk is on Sunday and we reached our goal! Thank you so much to those that donated!! Love you guys!

The Unforgettables Choir starts their fall semester tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept 18, 2024 at 9:30 am. The choir is for anyone who is living with memory loss, Alzheimer's or other types of dementia and a care partner. We would love to have you join us! We also need volunteer singers too!

I am participating in Walk to End Alzheimer's on Sunday, September 29, 2024 beginning at 1pm in Grand Forks.
I would love to have you join my team to walk with me and/or donate to support my efforts. Together, we can work to end this horrible disease!
ps I have a small speaking part at the walk this year.
