Dear West Michigan,

In our region of West Michigan, Pelvic Floor issues are not being recognized soon enough! Women (and men) come for PT having dealt with uncomfortable symptoms, undiagnosed for months to years! Peeing your pants isn’t normal. Uncomfortable intimacy can be helped! Moms need to restore their core after baby!

Diastasis Recti is the widening of the connective tissues between the 6 pack ab muscles (re**us abdominus). New research showed diastasis recti may be more common than previously thought with 57% of those in the study having the criteria. The researches stated that a width of 34mm or less= normal “gap” above the belly button.
It’s important to address much more than the GAP! Retraining abdominals and the inner core system is the goal💪 Regain strength and loose the pooch!
