Harbor View Eye Care is looking for the right person for a career in eye care.

The position will be for 3 to 4 days a week.
No weekends.

General optical knowledge a plus but will train the right individual. Job will include:

-Style glasses, recommend lenses and adjustments of Eyewear.

-Some optical tech work including visual fields, OCT, and pre-testing.

-Appointment scheduling and chart prep

-Knowledge of CompuLink a plus

Pay is based on experience

Please welcome Dr. Claire Diekema to our practice.

Dr. Diekema is a Grand Haven native who has spent the past few years practicing in Colorodo. She is excited to move back to West Michigan and join Harbor View Eye Care and our Vollink Eye Care offices. Dr. Diekema graduated with a bachelors in biology from Oakland University and completed her doctorate in optometry from Ohio State University. She has a special interest in glaucoma care, dry eye management, ocular disease and refractive care. She is a member of West Michigan Optometric Association and the Michigan Optometric Association. When she is not working she can be found enjoying a variety of outdoor activities with her husband and son. Dr. Diekema is accepting new patients as well as taking care of existing patients along with Dr. Vollink.

No weekends.

General optical knowledge a plus but will train the right individual. Job requirements include:

-Style glasses and recommend lenses, as well as take measurements for optical accuracy.
-Eyewear adjustments
-Contact lens training
-Some optical tech work including visual fields, OCT, and pre-testing.
-Basic office knowledge including billing insurances, charts, appointment scheduling, etc.
-Knowledge of CompuLink a plus
