📣MANDT Training Opportunity – Limited Openings Available!

Community members are invited to join our upcoming MANDT System Training and learn how to build and maintain healthy relationships while promoting safety through dignity, respect, and emotional regulation.

Open Training Spots Available:

One opening for January 9 & 10

One opening for January 23 & 24

Training Options & Pricing:

One-Day Course – Focus on relationship-building, self-regulation, and co-regulation
$80 per person (Friday, January 9th or 23rd only)

Two-Day Course – Includes all one-day content plus self-protection and protecting others skills
$100 per person

Meet William!

William is one of our skilled RBTs, bringing energy, heart, and expertise to every client session at The Shoreline Center. He helps clients reach their goals and celebrates every step of their progress.

Favorite part of the job?
"My favorite part of my role is seeing clients make progress toward their goals." He loves watching growth happen and supporting meaningful change in everything he does. ✨

Originally from Big Rapids and now living in Muskegon, William enjoys life with his wife—who he credits as his biggest influence—and their two kids. As a family, they love decorating for Halloween and Christmas, playing soccer, and traveling together. Their household also includes two dogs, Benji and Oakley, and a crested gecko named Albus.

💡 Fun Fact: William plays disc golf competitively across Michigan and has competed in 11 different states!

We’re so lucky to have William on our team—his positive energy, dedication, and heart make The Shoreline Center a brighter place every day!

Meet Avery!
Avery is one of our incredible RBTs here at The Shoreline Center, and we are beyond grateful to have her as part of our team. Her compassion and dedication for her clients truly shine through in everything she does.

Her kind heart says it all, “My favorite part about being an RBT is getting to see my clients grow and learn new things! I love watching their progress in new skills and communication. I also enjoy seeing all the inventive and creative ways clients come up with to engage in play.”

We are so lucky to work alongside someone as talented, kind, and inspiring as Avery!

🎉 Big News from Gracious Grounds! 🎉

We are excited to share that Gracious Grounds has officially closed on the Ability Way property, and construction begins Monday. This is a major step forward in our mission to expand independent living opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities.

Ability Way will provide new apartments where residents can build meaningful community, grow in confidence, and experience the dignity of having a place that is truly their own. This next chapter strengthens our commitment to personal development, independence, and creating a deep sense of belonging for every resident who joins our community.

We will be announcing the date for our groundbreaking celebration soon and are looking forward to sharing this moment with you.
