Here's an interesting tidbit about spine specialist Dr. Jeff Lamping. He got his master's degree in bioengineering/biomedical product design and development from the University of Kansas School of Engineering. And that was before he went to med school! He also completed his spine fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago. You can make an appointment with this overachiever in Muskegon, Grand Haven or Holland. He is now accepting new patients.

One of our newest physicians, trauma specialist Dr. Hunter Ross, and his wife Dr. Vicki Sharma were recently featured in Livability magazine. In the article (link in comments below) they talk about their move to Muskegon and what life has been like since moving to the lakeshore in 2023. They are a wonderful asset to our community and we're glad they chose Muskegon!

Congrats to OAM sports med specialist Dr. Andrew Alwood on being named the Grand Haven Buccaneers' team doctor! You can still make an appointment with Dr. Alwood at our Grand Haven or Muskegon office, but now you'll also see him at Grand Haven football games and other events keeping those athletes on the field. Way to go Dr. Alwood!

Great collaboration and sharing of knowledge between OAM's Dr. Voss and our i'move Physical Therapy, Sports Performance and Adult Fitness partners.

Big thanks to Dr. Voss for joining our all-staff meeting to share about tenotomy and the TenJet and Tenex procedures, minimally invasive treatments for chronic tendon pain like tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, or Achilles tendinitis.

It was an incredibly informative session and sparked great conversations. We’re excited about opportunities to collaborate and keep finding new ways to help patients move forward.

Excitement is building for the 18th Annual Harbor Hospice Regatta on Wednesday, August 13 at the Muskegon Yacht Club!

A heartfelt thank-you goes out once again to Orthopaedic Associates of Muskegon (OAM) for their generous support as our Mainsail Sponsor. Their continued partnership plays a vital role in helping us meet important needs at the Leila & Cyrus Po**en Hospice Residence.

Regatta proceeds will support urgent capital improvements at the Po**en Hospice Residence, including kitchen equipment, HVAC units, a generator, an accessible bathtub, and a new roof for the 12,000-square-foot facility. Since these capital needs aren’t covered by billing, community support is essential to maintaining a safe and comfortable space for patients and families.
