Flooring is being installed!! We’re very excited as this is a big step for us to get the renovation moving forward. Cabinets, doors, etc are all on site and able to be installed once the floors are in. 😍

Update on our progress: we have paint!!! All the dry wall and new walls are done and painting is moving forward steadily.
Next, at the beginning of January, are new floors!

Exciting update: We were able to preserve some of the original flooring from the 1930s. This terrazzo floor is beautiful in person and has the original brass grout lines. Most of the office wasn’t able to be saved (past cut areas for plumbing, leveling, etc) but the main bathroom was buffed and polished. We’re excited to save this piece of history. Did you see the Sun Dog in the sky tonight? This is a beautiful optical phenomenon. It looks like bright rainbow or bright spots on each side of the sun and is caused by sunlight hitting ice crystal clouds. The ice refracts the light like a prism.
