Exciting news in women’s health: Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS) has officially been renamed Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) to better reflect its full hormonal, metabolic, and whole-body nature, rather than focusing on ovarian cysts that aren’t always present.

This patient-centered change will help improve awareness, speed up diagnoses, reduce stigma, and support more comprehensive care for the millions of women affected.
